Korean · Pronunciation Guide
ba-ji. A quiet initial ㅂ and a ㅈ that voices between vowels -- two plain consonants and nothing else.
baji
Uniform weight across the pair. The word is about as simple as Korean gets -- two open syllables and two plain consonants -- which makes it a good place to check that your plain series really is unaspirated.

이 바지는 아주 편해요 attaches the topic particle to a vowel-final noun, and 편해요 opens with an aspirated ㅍ and then lenites its ㅎ, so the adjective is where all the consonant interest sits.
Aspirating either consonant is the error available here, since 'pa-ji' and 'ba-chi' both push a plain consonant into the aspirated series when neither should carry breath. The other slip is a full English b at the front, heavier than the quiet Korean version.
