Korean · Pronunciation Guide
eo-di. A bare unrounded vowel, then a ㄷ that voices into a genuine d because it sits between vowels.
eodi
Two blocks, level, and no rise even though this is a question word. Korean marks questions with the sentence ending and the final contour, so the interrogative itself stays as flat as any other word in the sentence.

어디에 살아요? attaches the location particle straight onto the vowel-final 어디, giving three open syllables in a row. Then 살아요 taps its ㄹ forward into the vowel, sa-ra-yo, and the rise comes only at the very end.
English speakers raise the pitch on the question word itself, importing the shape of 'WHERE do you live?', when Korean puts the rise on the last syllable of the sentence instead. Rounding the first vowel into 'oh-di' is the other error, and it is the standard ㅓ problem.
