ga-bang. A quiet ㄱ at the front, a ㅂ that voices between vowels, and a nasal ㅇ that never releases.
gabang
Two beats over identical vowels. The consonants do all the work, and since both are plain, the word should sound soft from beginning to end with no burst anywhere in it.

가방을 집에 두고 왔어요 attaches 을, so the ㅇ carries into the particle and the noun becomes ga-bang-eul. Then 집에 sends its ㅂ forward and 왔어요 resyllabifies its ㅆ into a double s.
Hardening either consonant is the first error, since a full English g at the front and a full b in the middle both overshoot the plain series. The other is the ending, where releasing a g after the nasal is the same 'finger' habit that spoils 방, 강 and 공원.
