mo-du. Two rounded vowels at different heights, with a ㄷ that voices between them into a genuine d.
modu
Two blocks of equal length. The technical demand is keeping ㅗ and ㅜ apart while the lips stay rounded for both -- only the tongue height changes, and that is a distinction English does not mark in the same way.

여기 있는 사람들은 모두 제 친구예요 contains a nasalization worth hearing: 있는 has its ㅆ neutralize to a t and then become ㄴ before the following nasal, so it is pronounced in-neun rather than 'it-neun'.
Merging the two vowels into a single 'oo' or 'oh' is the standard outcome, and it makes the word sound like one syllable said twice. Keep the tongue lower for the first and higher for the second. Aspirating the ㄷ is the other error, since between vowels it should be soft.
