Korean · Pronunciation Guide
to-kki. An aspirated ㅌ at the front and a tensed ㄲ in the middle -- two members of the three-way contrast inside one short word.
tokki
No peak on either syllable. The word is an efficient drill because the two consonants sit at opposite ends of the contrast -- maximum breath, then none at all -- and there is nothing else in it to distract you.

토끼는 귀가 길어요 attaches the topic particle to a vowel-final noun, and 길어요 taps its ㄹ forward, giving gi-reo-yo. The noun 귀 in the middle is a single w-glide beat.
Levelling the two consonants is the error: giving both aspiration produces 'to-khi', and giving neither produces 'do-gi'. Korean wants a strong puff and then a locked throat, and if you cannot hear the difference in your own version, this is the word to record and check.
