These terms cover your use of LingoDrop, the app and this website, provided by Cashflow Crescendo Inc. (“we,” “us”). By downloading, installing, or using LingoDrop, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
LingoDrop teaches a language one word (a “drop”) at a time, with spaced repetition to help it stick. The app works fully offline and doesn’t require an account, though signing in lets your progress sync across devices and unlocks optional social features like friends and challenges. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
LingoDrop is designed to be usable by learners of any age, including through Kids Mode. If you are under the age required to consent to these terms on your own in your country, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the app. If you're signing in and syncing progress to an account, you're confirming you have the right to do so.
Signing in is optional. If you do, you're responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure, since that's what LingoDrop uses to sign you in — we don't have a separate password of our own to reset. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app; see our account deletion page for details.
LingoDrop is free to use, with an optional Premium subscription that removes the daily word cap. Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using whatever pricing, trial, and renewal terms are shown to you at the time of purchase in that store's checkout screen — that listing is the authoritative source for current pricing and billing terms, not this page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and cancellations, refunds, and billing management are handled by Apple or Google through your device's account settings, not by us directly.
Where a trial or promotional period is offered, using it more than once on the same account, or moving between accounts to repeat it, isn't permitted.
Use LingoDrop for its intended purpose: learning a language. Don't use it to harass, impersonate, or send abusive content to other users through friends, challenges, or any other social feature; don't attempt to access another person's account or data; don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its backend; and don't use it in any way that violates applicable law.
If you use friends, group challenges, or similar features, other users may see the display name, streak, course, and progress information described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you share through these features and for keeping that content appropriate, particularly since people of any age may be using LingoDrop.
The app, this website, and their content — including the word lists, example sentences, audio, and design — belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to use LingoDrop for your own learning; you don't have permission to copy, redistribute, or build a competing product from its content.
LingoDrop is a study tool, not a guarantee that you'll reach any particular level of fluency or pass any particular test. How much you learn depends on how you use it.
LingoDrop is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
You can stop using LingoDrop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable-use section above.
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use LingoDrop after a change means you accept the updated terms.
