"امروز چه کار میکنید؟" (Emruz che kār mikonid?) means "What are you doing today?" امروز opens the sentence as a time adverb, which is common in Persian — time words often lead, before the question word چه کار ("what work").
Watch the vowel length: the "oo" in -ruz must be held long, not clipped short, or امروز can start to sound like a different word. Learners also sometimes try to add a preposition like "on" before امروز, but Persian time words like this stand alone with no preposition needed.
