"ایران کشور من است" ("Iran is my country") again shows possession built with the suffix -like structure کشور من ("country of-me"), placing the possessor من after the possessed noun, mirroring the earlier مادر/پدر examples of Persian's noun-first possessive order.
Learners sometimes pronounce و as "w" ("kesh-WAR"), influenced by English "war". In Persian و here is a full "v" consonant, as in "van", not a glide like English "w".
