"بچهها به مدرسه میروند" ("The children go to school") pluralizes بچه with the plural suffix -hā (بچهها) and uses به ("to") before مدرسه, unlike دختر above where "to school" appeared with no preposition at all — both patterns exist in natural Persian depending on the verb and phrasing.
Learners sometimes stress the first syllable ("MAD-re-se") by analogy with English "madrasa". Keep the stress at the very end: mad-re-SE.
