'تلاش میکنم' (Talāsh mikonam, 'I try / I am trying') drops the subject pronoun man ('I'), as Persian regularly does since the verb ending -am on mikonam already marks first-person singular. The می- prefix again takes primary stress in this conjugated form: mi-KO-nam.
Where English speakers slip
Learners sometimes add a redundant pronoun ('man talāsh mikonam') where a native speaker would just say 'talāsh mikonam', or conversely drop the -am ending and leave the verb unconjugated — person and number must live on the verb ending, not be skipped just because the subject is implied.
