Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
baar — a plain b, a long open aa, and one flick of the tongue tip; not the English word "bar."
baar
All the duration is in the vowel, with the tap contributing effectively nothing. That is the opposite of the English word it resembles, where the r occupies as much time as the vowel does.

"Maiṁne yeh sirf ek baar dekhaa" takes the ergative maiṁne because dekhaa is a perfective transitive, and sirf just before baar ends in a nuqta f. So a labiodental fricative runs straight into a plain b.
Reading it as English "bar" gives a long rhotic that swallows the vowel. Hold a clean open aa, then flick the tongue once. Adding breathiness to the b would also move it into the भ series, which is worth avoiding even where no minimal pair exists.
