Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
BAA-rish — a plain b, a long open aa, one quick tap, and a short i before the sh.
baarish
The long vowel at the front outweighs the short one behind it, so this word tips forward rather than back — a less common shape in Hindi and one English speakers happen to get right by instinct. Just do not lengthen the second vowel.

"Baarish ruk hee naheeṁ rahee" uses hee for emphasis after ruk and makes rahee feminine to agree with baarish. The feminine gender is not obvious from the word's sound, so that -ee ending on the auxiliary is your only clue.
The tap in the middle turns into an American r, which colours the long aa in front of it and lengthens the whole middle of the word. It should be one brief contact. The second vowel also tends to be stretched toward "reesh" when it needs to stay short and lax.
