kuh-MEEZ — a dry k, a schwa, a long ee, and a nuqta z that stays voiced to the end.
kameez
A schwa run-up into a long closed syllable, so the weight is unambiguously at the back. English speakers who front-stress it flatten the long vowel and invert the shape completely.

"Safed kameez almaaree meṁ hai" uses safed, which has a nuqta फ़ giving a true f, alongside kameez's nuqta ज़. So two Persian-derived words with two different nuqta consonants sit side by side.
Reading ज़ as j gives "kameej," and English devoicing turns the final consonant into an s. Both matter. Buzz the z and keep the voicing running until the sound stops, and keep the initial k free of the puff English adds before a stressed vowel.
