Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
khuh-REED-naa — three beats, with a puffed kh, a long ee in the middle, and a dental d.
khareednaa
Light, heavy, heavy: the schwa syllable is compressed and the long-vowel syllables carry the word. The schwa after द is deleted, which is what puts the d and n directly in contact and keeps the word to three beats rather than four.

"Mujhe roṭee khareednee hai" turns the infinitive feminine — khareednee — to agree with roṭee, a feminine noun, in the obligation construction. Roṭee also contains a retroflex ट, so the tongue curls back there and comes forward again for the dental d of the verb.
Three things slip: the kh loses its puff, the r becomes an American approximant that colours the surrounding vowels, and the d moves back to the alveolar ridge. Deal with them one at a time — the r especially, since a single quick tap keeps the long ee clean on both sides.
