Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
PAY-daa HOH-naa — the first vowel is the long open-mid one of "bed," not the diphthong of "pie."
paidaa honaa
Four heavy syllables in a row, every one carrying a long vowel — so the phrase moves slowly and evenly. Do not compensate by shortening the middle; Hindi tolerates long stretches of full vowels in a way English rhythm resists.

"Meraa beṭaa Dillee meṁ paidaa huaa" uses the perfective huaa rather than honaa, agreeing masculine with beṭaa, and beṭaa itself has a retroflex ट. So the tongue curls back for the son and comes forward to the teeth for paidaa.
The vowel in pai- gets read as English "pie," which adds a glide the word does not have, and the p gets aspirated. The d is the third issue: an English alveolar d here sounds retroflex-adjacent, when the target is squarely on the teeth.
