Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
SAA-bun — a long open aa at the front, a plain b, a short lax u, and a dental n.
saabun
Length is at the front and the second syllable is short and closed, so the word falls away rather than climbing. That is the reverse of most Persian-derived nouns in the course, and it is worth registering as an exception.

"Baathroom meṁ saabun khatm ho gayaa" uses khatm ho gayaa for something running out, and khatm has an aspirated ख and a -tm cluster. Baathroom's aspirated dental थ opens the sentence, so saabun is the only fully plain word in it.
The second vowel gets lengthened toward "boon" and the n slides back to the alveolar ridge. Keep the u short and lax, and push the nasal forward onto the teeth. The b should also stay free of breathiness.
