TAU-li-yaa — a dental t, the steady rounded vowel of "caught," a short i, and a long aa.
tauliyaa
Heavy, light, heavy — a short syllable dips between two long ones, which gives the word a rocking shape. Flattening that dip by lengthening the middle vowel is the commonest way learners lose the rhythm.

"Tauliyaa darvaaze ke peechhe ṭaṁgaa hai" ends with ṭaṁgaa, which has a retroflex ट and a nasalized vowel, and peechhe contains an aspirated छ. So the sentence adds retroflexion, nasality and aspiration after the relatively gentle noun.
Reading au as the diphthong of "town" adds movement the vowel does not have, and the initial t comes out aspirated and alveolar. Freeze the vowel in a rounded position, put the tongue tip on the teeth, and hold the breath back. Compressing the word to two syllables is the third habit.
