Hindi · Pronunciation Guide
OOS-kaa with a short lax u to start — like the vowel of "put" — and a long aa at the end.
uskaa
Light-ish first syllable, heavy second: the short vowel is closed by a consonant, giving weight by position, but the long aa still outweighs it. The result is a word that leans forward onto its ending rather than sitting back on its first beat.

"Yeh uskaa bhaaee hai" keeps uskaa masculine because bhaaee is masculine — the possessive tells you nothing about whose brother it is, only about the brother. Bhaaee itself opens with a breathy-voiced भ, so there is a sighed release right after the k of uskaa.
Learners lengthen the first vowel and reduce the second, producing "OOS-kuh" — precisely the opposite of the Hindi pattern. Short first, long last. The k also tends to acquire a puff in the middle of the word; keep it dry.
